Car Accidents Resulting from Drinking and Driving

Anytime a car accident occurs it is a traumatic experience for both parties. While many car accidents throughout Maryland are purely accidental, there are cases in which negligence is just an understatement. I read an article today regarding a car accident that occurred as a result from drinking and driving. Worse yet, the victim was not only the person that was driving the other automobile, but the child that was driving with the intoxicated party. From what the article stated the person that was driving the car with his child was under the influence of alcohol. This is just poor judgment!

Another article that jumped out of me was the case in which a couple allowed a party in their house for their teenage son. Later that night two of the boys that were drinking at the party, drove their car home and crashed. The accident claimed both of the boys lives.

Both of these stories are examples of accidents of poor judgment. While an accident can never be anticipated, accidents such as these two obviously should have never occurred.
